Look back over your research and planning and see how many columns are traditionally used in a music magazine and compare with how many you've planned to use, also look at your contents research and see the graphology used.
You've got an excellent photo on your contents (the one of the Panic) which could be used on the DPS as it is so strong an image.
In terms of fonts could you emulate the Sex Pistols 'Never mind the ...' font on your cover? Keep messing around with Photoshop to see what you can do.
