Improvements To Be Made After Draft Feedback
Cover: Firstly I need to change the masthead of the magazine. I will do this by changing the size of it to make it stand out more and outline the characters. However, if this still doesn’t look any better I am going to change to the font ‘Anarchy’. Another small change that I’m going to have to make is to change from issue number 12 to number 1. A big change to the cover is the image as I am going to take some new photographs. I was told that two of the members look too ‘preppy’ so I am going to style the band members to look far more ‘punkish’- including all members wearing makeup. The image I am hoping to take will be a mid shot of the band posing in an aggressive yet stern manner against a white wall. The last change I think I am going to make is to change the puff font from Impact to Type Writer.
Contents: The first change I need to make is to definitely include more ‘Features, ‘Exclusives’ and ‘Reviews’ as currently my magazine doesn’t contain much. The way these are layer out will also be changed as I am planning to have boxes around each section so I’ll have to change the colour of the font. Another possibility is to also add more images like those from Camden
DPS: The text on the photo is going to be the first thing that I will make changes to- I am going to make it sound more ‘edgy’, followed by making the end of the interview a more similar read to the beginning. I may also change the image to a similar one on the cover, but other than that I am keeping the page very much the same.
